Happy Independence Day!

We were in Clarkesville for Fourth of July this year visiting Grandmother.  We went to the local parade.  It was definitely a small-town parade littered mostly with local politicians shaking hands and collecting votes but Hayes seemed to have fun.  As with most of her activities at this age, it ended in her tuckered out and sound asleep!  She even fell asleep in her carrier and had to have her head held.

Happy July 4!

All decked out in my red, white, and blue!
Hayes loves to be around people so an entire town out lining the streets was a perfect event for her - so many people to see!

It was truly a small-town parade complete with citizens in costumes.  We do believe that is an actual boombox from the Revolutionary War!

It's tough being charming for a whole town.  Hayes smiled and giggled at everyone she saw and then couldn't manage to keep her eyes open any longer.

Completely pooped!
